Sax Appeal to perform at festival

MUSIC. Orléans musical group Sax Appeal is set to return as one of the key musical acts for the 27th anniversary of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival from August 28 to September 1.

Sax Appeal is a unique ensemble of professional seasoned musicians.

The local group is known as Canada's most unique saxophone ensemble. Jarrod Goldsmith, founder of Sax Appeal said they're set for this amazing experience.

"A huge field with eighty balloons taking off at the same time to our music is going to be quite an experience, and not to mention an amazing sight."

The quartet's set-list promises to draw out the "oohs and aahs" while the balloons take flight. The group has planned to perform favorites like Up Up and Away In My Beautiful Balloon, Ravel's Bolero and Fly Me to The Moon.

The versatile quartet, known for entertaining audiences with a blend of jazz, classical, or everything-inbetween will be performing for the morning launches at 6:30 a.m. on August 30, August 31, and September 1.
