A Hydro One outage initially scheduled for earlier this month is slated to go ahead this weekend.

Topics :
Hydro One , Navan , Ontario , Quebec

The scheduled interruption – originally planned for April 5 and postponed because of weather-related concerns – will occur on Sunday, April 19 from 1:30 to 7:00 a.m., says Hydro One spokesperson Daniele Gauvin, with a weekend of dry weather in the forecast.

Approximately 1,000 households and businesses in the Navan area will be impacted by the power outage, she continues, and have already been notified via an automated telephone message. The interruption will accommodate work on an Ontario-to-Quebec transmission line, Gauvin adds.
