Fresh off the event where his top result was 11th in the 500 metres out of 63 racers to go alongside 13th- and two 14th-place finishes in the other distances, Frost is back in town today to participate in a 100-kilometre skate as a fundraising event for the Ottawa Rotary Home, which provides care for children with physical disabilities. “Have I ever skated that distance before? No. Will it be hard? Yes. Will I finish it? Yes – absolutely,” Frost says. “I feel that with all the training I’ve done, I’ll be able to do it, and it won’t be a race.” Frost can be reach by e-mail at kevin-nemo@hotmail.com – tax receipts will be issued for donations to the Rotary Home.
