Call for Volunteers-Cardinal Creek Tree Planting

The Cardinal Creek Community Association is once again pleased to announce our annual "greening" event in our community.  Our tree planting day is scheduled for Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to noon and we are inviting all those interested in participating to join us for this great event. This year we will plant in 3 areas, all close to the Cardinal Creek Karst on the east end of Watters Road (1070 Watters Road), just past where the paved road turns to gravel.  Please arrive at the Karst by 9 a.m. dressed for the weather as it will take place rain or shine.  It is also recommended that you wear work gloves, long pants, long sleeves and sturdy boots or footwear to protect yourself from poisonous plants, etc. Volunteering at this CCCA event can be considered as community service for high school students who require volunteer hours. If you would like to participate or if you have any questions, please contact us at stefanikstefanik@gmail.com. We're looking forward to seeing you there.
