The St. Peter Knights won their boys’ hockey game yesterday, and they also won a pizza lunch this afternoon courtesy Orléans-Cumberland public school board trustee John Shea.

Topics :
Catholic school board

Shea made a wager with his counterpart at the Catholic school board, Stephen Blais, that the Sir Wilfrid Laurier Lancers would come out on top of the contest between the neighbourhood rivals.

The Knights won the matchup 4-0 at the Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex – Orléans to improve to 7-1-1 on the season, while Sir Wil dropped to 2-6.

St. Peter has one more regular season game Feb. 10 against 6-1-1 St. Pius before they’ll enter the playoffs, where they’ll try to defend their title of city champions.
