Canada Day garbage spoils yearly tradition
This letter is addressed to the "pigs" who chose the farmers field on Jeanne d'Arc near Trim Road to enjoy the Canada Day fireworks held at Petrie Island as your vantage point.
Two days after the fact, this field was still strewn with the garbage, and dozens of plastic bottles you left behind. It saddens me to think that people "celebrate" this glorious country we are privileged to live in this disrespectful way, and there are still too many of the "it's not my problem" type of Canadians living here.
If this letter is read by only one person who chooses to take their own garbage bags with them next year, it will have served its purpose.
I am not connected with this property in any way. I'm only a local resident who enjoys the beautiful nature in this area and felt a need to express my disgust.
