Biggs added to Olympic team
Orléans slalom skier Patrick Biggs will be a 2010 Olympian after all.
Alpine Canada was officially allocated three additional racing places by the International Ski Federation earlier today, and Biggs was one of three athletes added to the 19 who were named to the Canadian team on Wednesday.
Biggs, 27, was originally left off the Canadian list behind four teammates who had produced better recent World Cup results.
It will be Biggs’ second consecutive trip to the Olympics. The men’s slalom is scheduled for Feb. 27 in Whistler.
