Police looking for Blackburn Hamlet bank robber
Ottawa police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect wanted in relation to a robbery in Blackburn Hamlet.
On Nov. 30 at 5:55 p.m. a lone male entered the Bank of Montreal branch on Innes Road in Blackburn Hamlet. Police say the suspect demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No injuries were reported and no weapon was seen, police say.
Police note the robber might have arrived and fled on a bicycle.
The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 30-years-old, 5'3"(160 cm), 140 lbs (64 kg), with dark bushy eyebrows. He might be left handed.
